HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR NEW BROWS
I know what a rollercoaster healing can be, trust the process! For best results follow the precare and aftercare instructions given to you.
PRECARE INSTRUCTIONS
Must stop use of retin-a, VITAMIN c, or any skincare ingredients that cause skin cells to rejuvenate faster, eg: glycolic acid, AHA/BHA etc. around the brow area 2 weeks before & after your appointment.
No alcohol or caffeine intake 24 hours prior to appointment as this can cause excessive bleeding.
No fish oil, vitamin e, or ibuprofen 24 hours before appointment (Tylenol is okay) please let me know if you are taking any medications that could thin your blood.
Any waxing/plucking/threading should be done 3 days or more prior to service. Tinting should be done 2 weeks before.
Botox can be done 2 weeks before or after service.
Chemical peels, microneedling, or any treatments that causes skin cells to rejuvenate faster, should be done 6 weeks before or after service.
Wear a hat in direct sun exposure and avoid deep tanning for 2 weeks prior, this will allow me to color match you accurately!
AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
Day of service: Press brows with the damp cotton round every 30 minutes for first 3-4 hrs to remove any lymph fluid.
Day after service: Gently wash your brows 2-3 times a day for 10 days using purified/bottled water ONLY, no soap or facewash.
1st day after service: Dry skin: Apply ointment 2x/day for 10 days.
1st day after service: Oily skin: Apply ointment 1x/day for 10 days.
Avoid excessive sweating for 10 days.
For 2 weeks after service avoid:
Direct sun exposure, makeup on brows, pools, saunas, facials, waxing, Botox.
Your brows will flake/peel/itch, it’s important to not pick or scratch as this can remove pigment.
Your new brows will first appear DARK, then light, possibly “disappear”, but pigment will return at the end of healing. TRUST THE PROCESS!
